CYBEX OPENS THE FIRST FLAGSHIP STORE IN BERLIN

Located on the historic Kurfürstendamm 62 in the Charlottenburg district, the boutique spans 432 square meters on a single floor. The space captures the essence of CYBEX’s philosophy — where luxurious design meets exceptional functionality — while celebrating Berlin’s dynamic cultural heritage.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed into an environment defined by neutral tones, beige screed, and soft carpeting, contrasted by bold, fluted concrete wall cladding and an organic-shaped arch that pays homage to Pop Art and its playful, sculptural visual language. This element introduces an almost surreal geometry that contrasts sharply with the store’s otherwise minimalist and neutral palette, bridging CYBEX’s contemporary design DNA with the city’s celebrated connection to art and architecture.

Adding a sense of character and authenticity, the interior retains select original elements of the building — including sections of herringbone wood flooring and of the gilded ceiling. Completed in 1904, the building’s façade was renovated after World War II and remains one of the listed landmarks of Charlottenburg for its historical and cultural significance.

The store entrance sits within one of two towers that extend through the full height of the building and culminate in ornate domes from the original construction. Inside, hallways and VIP areas are adorned with Pop Art-inspired elements and stylized imagery, blending Berlin’s artistic energy with the CYBEX design identity.

The boutique features the complete CYBEX product portfolio: strollers, car seats, baby carriers, home and living solutions, and accessories. Each product embodies the brand’s unique D.S.F. Innovation Principle, which stands for distinctive Design, the highest Safety standards, and smart Functionality – essential values to improve the everyday life “for all tomorrow’s people.”
